Indrail Pass

Indrail pass is a travel as you please ticket for the convenience of foreign tourists zealous of exploring India via train. It offers the facility of train travel to the visitors travelling on the budget for a period ranging from half day to 90 days. (See the cost in the table mentioned below.)

With this pass, tourists can enjoy the pleasure of travelling aboard any train under the Indian railways without any route restriction till the time the pass is valid.

Foreign nationals and NRI’s can purchase these special passes on payment of U.S. Dollars ($), Pound Sterling (£) and Euro. After that, he is not required to pay any reservation fee, super fast charges or surcharge for the train tour. This service is also a popular option among short stay and transit visitors as the passes are now available for half day (12 hrs.), one day (24 hrs.), two days (48 hrs.) and four days. The validity of the Indrail pass starts from the date of the first train tour and ends on the midnight of the last tour.

Tourists interested in securing a train pass need to contact General Sales Agents abroad at Oman, Malaysia, UK, Germany, UAE, Germany, Nepal & Indian Airlines overseas outlets at Kuwait, Bahrain and Columbo. Besides this, they can also avail the Indirail pass in Railway Reservation Offices at Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Howrah, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Secunderabad, Thiruvananthapuram Central, Vadodara, Varanasi and Vasco-da-Gama. Certain recognised Travel Agents are also authorized to sell these Passes in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.
