Day 1. Delhi – Mumbai
From Delhi airport board the flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Mumbai, the commercial capital of India including a visit to the famous tourist attractions including Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill slopes offering wide view of Marine drive, Chowpatti Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India & drive through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive & Flora Fountain. Overnight stay.
Day 2. Mumbai – Aurangabad
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Aurangabad. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Later visit Ajanta Caves. Ajanta Caves are 99 Kms or 03 hrs drive. Aurangabad and date back to the 2nd century BC. The 30 rock hewn caves are adorned with Buddhist sculpture and the frescoes portray in epic form the religious and secular life through eight centuries. Ajanta is famous for paintings and sculptures, considered as master pieces of Buddhist religious art. Overnight stay in the hotel. (Ajanta caves remains closed on every Monday)
Day 3. Aurangabad
After breakfast full day tour of Ellora Caves (29 km) encompassing 34 rock cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu & Jain art dating from the 4th to 9th century A.D. The most remarkable among them is the Kailash Temple, meant to be a replica of Lord Shiva's celestial abode - Kailash is the best example of Rock cut architecture and an engineering marvel. Also city tour visit Aurangabad including Daulatabad Fort and Bibi-Ka–Maqbara and Aurangabad Caves. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4. Aurangabad – Mumbai – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Mumbai by S2 3224 dep. 07:45 hrs and arr. 08:30 hrs. Upon arrival cruise across the harbour (9 Kms) to see Elephanta Caves noted for huge rock cuts. Later transfer to the Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
